Frank MARTIN, Australia - delivered Nagamani Dharmapuri endowment lecture on 'Paediatric ophthalmology', Sankara Nethralaya on 24.01.2013

Frank J Martin is President of APAO and APSPOS. He is a Clinical Professor in Ophthalmology and Paediatrics and Child Health at the University of Sydney and holds an attachment to Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network and to Sydney Eye Hospital. He is also Chairman of the Board of the Children’s Medical Research Institute and Chairman of the Westmead Hub Council. He is a past President of RANZCO and has been recognised for his contribution to ophthalmology by the award of the College Medal. Frank was made a Member of the Order of Australia in 2001. In 2011 Frank was awarded APAO’s highest award for a clinician in the region, the Jose Rizal Medal, and also received a vocational excellence award from Rotary.
