The first batch of students of the 10 weekend ‘Certificate Program in Hospital Management’ course conducted by The Sankara Nethralaya Academy (TSNA) passed out successfully on 17th December 2011. The course draws from the rich, real-time experience of Sankara Nethralaya in Hospital Management and the latest managerial techniques from the subject experts and aims to prepare individuals in supervisory or managerial positions in the health care industry to become more effective in their work.
The passing out students belonging to mid and senior level management positions from a broad spectrum of health care institutions ranging from multinational diagnostic centers to multi-specialty hospitals found the course, touching on myriad issues concerning modern Hospital Management to be of high relevance to their vocation in terms of enhancing their knowledge and skill sets, equipping them to handle direct and related healthcare issues and to organize their departments much better.
This short term certification course is designed to increase the overall understanding of management issues and concepts by mid-level and senior managers to help them make well-informed decisions. It will also improve leadership quality and equip them with effective team building techniques.
The course which is open for individuals in the supervisory or managerial positions in hospitals and related health care institutions is conducted over 12 weekends ( Saturdays between 3 – 6 pm) so the work schedules of the executives is not hampered.
The Sankara Nethralaya Academy`s second batch for the Hospital Management certification course will be commencing from 3rd March 2012(Saturday)
Last date for submitting the duly filled in application form is 15th February 2012
